Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit at the NHOs annual conference.

Their Royal Highnesses The Crown Prince and Crown Princess attended the opening of the annual conference of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise ( NHO ) today . The conference is called "Learning Life ."


The royal couple was present at the first two parts of the conference.

During the break, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit met apprentice Tommy Kåsene at Bilfinger Industrial Services Herøya and teacher Roald Tangen Croft Holmen High School in Telemark. They are with respectively participant and project manager in " Talent to the skilled worker " - a four-year employment and training project to provide participants with certificate . The project is an alternative education model organized Telemark County Council with the support of NHO , LO , NAV and Norwegian Industry .

NHO is the largest trade association for businesses in Norway. Annually, about 1,300 business leaders , managers in the public sector , politicians , academics and experts attend the main organization 's annual conference .

Among the speakers who highlighted key issues in the knowledge society and knowledge was prime minister Erna Solberg, Andreas Schleicher OECD , CEO of SSB Hans Henrik Scheel and professor at the University of Stavanger Mari Rege .




Crown Princess Mette-Marit (40) has long been on sick leave due to neck prolapse and subsequent surgery.Before Christmas emerged Mette-Marit, however, on Norad Conference in Oslo, and she also appeared publicly in church on Christmas Eve - after sick leave had expired on 16 December.This week, however, the Crown Princess back in full swing, and Wednesday was also her husband by Mette-Marit's side. Together they visited the Annual Conference of the Opera House, where the focus was on education and learning.Haakon was also present at Norad conference, but then just sat in the audience and looked at his wife.During her last official, the Crown Princess wasn't in top form and dimmed wearing sneakers. She told him that she was not very mobile and therefore not able to see properly out at any time.Wednesday showed Mette-Marit again wearing parts of her great wardrobe. She wore a black suit and gray scarf, and sneakers this day was replaced with flat black boots.The Princess celebrated Christmas at her cottage in Uvdal and holiday seems to have done well for Mette-Marit as she was in very good spirits as she arrived at the Opera.
